We are May 2017 filers and getting extremely frustrated and impatient and stressed with the NO2 which we still do not have. We are close to 170 days of waiting.

My question is this: after we receive the NOA2 (hopefully) how long are the timelines to point of entry realistically.

When looking at the Montreal Embassy wait times for non- immigrant visas, they are at a 30 day waiting period, that with the 30 day NVC wait times, plus the points in between, are we realistically looking at another 3 months after the NOA2?

Any Canadian that has gone through this process recently and can shed some light on realistic timelines would be appreciated.
