Good day everyone. My fiancee and I will start with the required forms and papers for the K1 visa. I just wanna ask if what date to put in it. Is it the same date on the same day he will going to file for the assembled papers to USCIS? What about the Letter of intent to Marry in my case as I am here in my foreign country? Thank you so very much everyone. Any reply is so highly appreciated. Godbless us all.

Do you mean the signature date? If so, legal signatures are not to be pre- or post-dated. You just sign the day date when you sign it.

Thank you so much for the response. I have additional question. My fiancee and I will meet next month. Can i just fill up the G-325A and give him the Letter to intent to marry and my passport size picture so that he can bring it back to the US with him? Or i really need to mail it to the US? Many many thanks.

The G-325A is no longer used. Be sure you are using the latest forms and latest guide.

No need to mail anything...you can either give him either by hand, or you can scan & send them and then he can print them himself.

Thank you so much for answering. This question makes me feel confused also. I am working here in hongkong(almost 3 years) and we are planning to process the K1 visa here. My question is. In the letter of intent. What address do i need to put there? Is it my current address(hongkong address)? Or my address in the Philippines?BTW i will going to hand over the intent to marry letter to my fiancee when we meet next month. Will that be fine if i will sign it while we are still in the Philippines? Lots of questions now are popping into my mind. Thank you so much for the enlightenment.

You would use your current address, which sounds like it's in HK.

Yes, you can sign it while in the Philippines and give it to him.
