Thanks everyone :) Starting tomorrow (heh heh) I'm going to break back out the exercise videos! Woo! Because the size 6 jeans are feeling like my size 4 jeans, and the size 2 jeans I was wearing have managed to be on the floor for a while. Sigh. And then! On to planning a reception on Santa Catalina Island!

I have the following:

1. one vera wang dress (it's actually the only dress i liked, a VW maids dress! Cost like $300! Wooo!)

2. VW shoes found on clearance at the bridal boutique.

3. A mantilla I ordered from Pronovias

4. One green silk wedding dress I never got to use the first time, abaya-style

5. green silk shoes

6. Need to put all of this stuff to good use on the beach where i feel at home.

Actually, we'll go for the whole cake and such probably. Not sure. maybe a catered lunch. i don't really want to spend much money though, and am kind of thinking about telling people to BYOB :) So exciting!!

My husband went back home and stopped at the mosque on the way, and prayed for nearly two hours. I think he was excited :) he went home and prayed again, and told me he accidentally fell asleep in sujood making dua'a after his prayer. he had 45 minutes of sleep this morning before his interview, and he had 2 or 1 hour of sleep, depending on the night, for 4 nights before. He is so relieved.

Now I have to clean! He is a neat freak, ironing socks and underwear and clenaing things with Q-tips, so I'll actually have to do a good job! none of that cleaning the closet via tossing the stuff in a back room... which I did last month... and the months before...

hahaaa.. That is very cute the prayer and the closet cleaning ;)

Congrats !! I wish you guys the best!

Thanks guys!

The biggest challenge yet will be actually pretending like I am an adult and organized person by the time he comes. Sigh. Then we have to deal with the whole cats issue, and his adjustment. I think i'm going to request a week of vacation when he comes, starting the day after he gets here-- since he'll come at the earliest-- in the afternoon.

LOLOL!

Yeah, those who missed it missed my awesome statement about how you can tell the difference between wood and bone by putting it in your mouth-- wood sticks to your tongue, bones-- no matter human or not-- won't. And then of course you have all the awesome jokes you can make about wood and bones.

For those going through Amman who want to have another timeline idea.. he just got his visa and passport today. Notice the embassy still has not acknowledged my email.. but the issue date is May 2 :) So anyway, he's going to buy a ticket today and put in to quit his job! Yay! I'm still pushing for June 6 as his coming date :)
