Hello,

Since My husband is an American Mexican he holds 2x nationalities and I'm originaly from Tunisia, we live in San Diego currently, I am expecting my EAD/AP in few days and we want to surprise his family in TIJUANA, Mexico, My question is Am I required for a Mexican touristic visa ? or I can travel without problems under AP/EAD without problems and what should I do ? stamp in passport or what ??

The AP only allows you to request to be  paroled back into the US after a trip. Any trip you make will still be with your current passport. You will need whatever anyone from your country that travels to Mexico needs to visit.

Yes, you need an I551 stamp if you don’t have a plastic green card. Your AP/EAD is meaningless in Mexico, it’s only for re-entry into the US.

TURIST VISA (FMT)Permanent Residents of the United States of America, and of Canada
A foreigner of any country, who is a permanent resident of the United States of America or of Canada, may travel to Mexico without a visa or a consular stamp on the passport. The person should travel with the valid passport and the valid US Resident Alien Card (Green Card) or Permanent Resident Card (Canada). If you do not have a valid Resident Alien Card or Permanent Resident Card, you may travel to Mexico if your passport bears a valid stamp from the US immigration authorities (US Citizenship and Immigration Services), or from Canada (Immigration Canada), indicating you are a Permanent Resident. A card will be issued to you on boarding the plane or at the port of entry.

FYI, both Mexico and Canada exempt green card holders from visas even if passport holders from their countries usually need it. A number of Caribbean islands do the same.

Yes, I'm aware. The OP's question was in regards to AP.

The OP’s question was asking whether she could use her AP card as proof of her LPR status, or if she needed a stamp or actual visa. The answer was, she needs a stamp,

(i also interpreted your response as being unaware of that because you said she would need what “anyone” from her country would need to visit Mexico, which is not in fact the case if she has acceptable proof of her LPR status.)

The OP is just getting their EAD/AP - they are not an LPR,  read the post again. Once they become an LPR the EAD/AP is no longer needed and invalid.

As she is not yet an LPR she needs whatever anyone from her country needs.
