Hi everyone.  So the great news is our green cards were approved OCT 26th and two of the 3 have already arrived in the mail for our two K2 children.  The question I have is they have 10 year expiration dates on them.  I am assuming the wife's will come with the same expiration date.

That being said, the info at USCIS state, "Your permanent residence status is conditional if it is based on a marriage that was less than 2 years old on the day you were given permanent residence."  We were married March 2016...over a year and half ago.

Is it possible that the agent has discretion to award a 10 year card in this circumstance?  I don't want to ask if it could cause a problem but I don't want it to expire without us knowing about it of course either.

It's an error. You have not been married 2 years by the time of the approval. Wait for your wife's card and see if hers has the error too. Then get them fixed.
