Hello everyone! Just received my ead today i was very excited and happy to see it but after a few seconds I notice that my date of birth is in 2017 (im born in 1999). I was sadly surprise about it and after checking how much is the filling fee (365$) I even felt worse. To be honest i dont who's fault it is but i think it's not worth the wait for a new ead knowing that my i-465 would arrive the same time for a new ead card. my question is could i apply for a ssn and drivers licences with a wrong date of birth in ead? i do have several proof like birth certificate, passport and other supporting files. and also could i apply for a job even my ead has a wrong date of birth? any comments and suggestion would be helpful and appreciated thanks!  .

Might be saver to let USCIS know and request a corrected card. Wouldn't be extra charge for you, b/c it's their fault

Thank you madam... Im currently waiting for my dad (petitioner) cause he speaks better english. After reviewing the file i found it was my fault but i cant understand how they they dint ask me for rfi ( im not pointing fingers but my ead states im a 4 months old baby who's eligible to work) isn't that ironic?

lol yeah, what a joke... I wonder if they got a laugh out of it. Basically shows they aren't checking your documents (passport, I-94, etc) ?

Happy to help. By no means an expert in this, but I think it's helpful to play it safe, so you won't waste a trip to the SS office. But, if the DMV is close by with short wait time, it's worth a shot.

After further research, since it was your fault for the incorrect birth date, you will likely have to pay another fee. In that case, will be better to wait for GC.

Thanks for your efforts madam, im really thankful that theyre are strangers who's willing to help... I'll probably check my local dmv office and ss if they can issue me a card. For the ead card; i find it inbetter terms to wait for my GC to save money and time but im gonna call the uscis to check if i made the same mistake on my date of birth
