It means you are adult women continually bringing up something that was said more than 6 months ago, even though the original poster of said comment said long ago she was sorry and meant no harm by it.

You're not really this dense are you? What does my profile say? Do you think it means I really believe I'm part of a cabal?? No, it means I was sick of hearing about it. It became a joke. Sarah did the same. You all can't shut up about it, so she put it there. It's a fricking joke on this board for something, anything THAT PEOPLE REFUSE TO DROP NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME GOES BY. If you search the phrase, you will find not Sarah, but many others who have even recently used this phrase to mean anything ridiculous.

Well this has been one heckofa Tuesday thread eh? I think more topics where covered today than in any other daily thread. I'm still trying to figure out why it was posted that I spoke ill of someone though. I tend to bite my tongue on many topics here. Beleive me, if I really spoke my mind, it would probably blow the VJ server! Anywho.....ya'll are great! I'm closing out this Tuesday and going to bed!

Well thank you for the words of support. I changed my avatar pic, because I want to put a face to a name. I think if we knew each other a little better, it might not be so easy to say hurtful things. We are all couples going thru an adjustment of being married to someone from a different country. Our SO's are not from Mars! They are just from across the water and they are no different from American men. Culturally there are differences, but most of us embrace the differences of food, religion and customs and adapt that to fit our marriages. Underneath their skin, they are just men, and they all want a few things in life to make them happy, a good woman, food when they are hungry, a soft bed to sleep in and clean clothes after their shower. Nothing difficult there.

I find more stability in an older woman/younger man dynamic. What concerns me is the youngsters in our group that think they will never get old. That is disturbing. They should pay more attention to their men and not be so concerned what us old ladies are doing. Let me put it this way, they could learn a thing or two about marriage as most of the geriatric crowd has been married a time or two. Learn from our experiences and previous failures instead of trying to make us feel bad with your bitter words.

I have had someone on this forum go as far as to say I should leave my husband because SOMEDAY he might want children. Is that not the craziest thing you have ever heard? To break up because of what MIGHT happen? I'm not that insecure in my marriage. If Mohammed left me for another, there is a senior citizen cruise with my name on it. Wouldn't be the end of my life. Just another chapter. But I can't sacrifice these good years with him for speculation.

Gross, in your eyes, not mine. Abnormal, I find spewing garbage at strangers on a forum abnormal. Sick, that takes it just too far.

I remember making fun of "gross and abnormal" with brnidokiegurl, only to be attacked as "bringing up the past". Hekk, doodle's right, it's in our face and not everyone thinks it's funny. Personally, I wil continue to say what I think, and, since my opinions are more often not "mainstream" as far as this board goes, I will continue to be attacked. However, when ther are some who believe they can say WHATEVER they want about others and call it merely an opinion, they need to be willing to let opinions they don't like be expressed without attack, or be willing to get as good as they give.

That's the bottom line.

However, I never spoke ill of you as you stated. I think we all know how many members stand on the issue being addressed in that thread. Everyone debating on how they feel and it goes round and round. I think I've read pages and pages of different threads stating the same facts. I'm not judging anyone for what they did/did not do regarding that matter. It's not mine or anyone elses place to judge. God will be the judge of that, no one else. I think threads can be referred back to as reference, but why load up other threads with the same ol.
