Are we just talking about people who express their opinion or people who are down right nasty about things and refer to it as gross and abnormal??

Well, I know you were downright nasty enough to get a whole thread deleted, and you clearly, after MONTHS can't stop with it including putting something in your signature about it. I just said it's sick. Is that the same as gross and abnormal? You weren't even a member here when the discussion with this phrase was had. And you are harping on it. Not to mention you continually make nasty comments about weight. You are not an angel in this at all. You can continue to keep this up or grow up. This goes for Brown, too.

You and I have had our disagreements and do I have something in my signature or profile about you? I don't, but you did for a loooooonnnnngggg time.

We all know each other's opinions on these things, is it really necessary to continue with this harrassment?

Funny thing though, besides you few that band together and attack everyone, no one else starts trouble. You can go back and look at all the topics and post and find who the trouble makers are.

Clearly this is a perception issue, because I feel the same way about others on this board sometimes. But keep in mind there has been a significant change in membership, either those who have left or those who post rarely (and this includes people you are talking about). There hasn't even been more than a 2 page thread in months. So to continue to harp on this old stuff really gets us nowhere.

Thank you - you know i dont go looking for an argument i stay in OT and it has calmed down alot but you will also notice when a certain person does come on it starts all up again and its not me, im here, everyday and always have been. When someone goes around only picking your statements out of the group, then only doing a quote with nothing new and nothing intelligent to say, then you tell me how you would take that?? Age has nothing to do with anyone but the couple involved, it doesnt require an opinion from anyone else if they think its gross or what , doesnt matter. I never did tell you(peezy) thanks for your concern those few few hours after i found out of the return we didnt seem to have any issues back then nor do we now.

Thanks Judy. I guess it is a good thing to attack women repeatedly that are much older than their spouses, and that is mature. Whereas men marry women a lot younger than them and it is not a problem.

There are horrible things being said in Off Topic on a daily basis. Arguments run amuck all the time. Personal attacks happen. Nobody complains because it is an internet forum board and there will always be people who express opinions that we do not like. No one takes it personally either otherwise OT would hve been shut down a long time ago. Does MENA have different rules about expressing opinions and how we are suppose to react? Because I didn't get that memo.

Did I just read that an older woman is 'sick' for marrying a younger man? Sick? I will soooooooooo refrain from typing what I really feel at this moment. When I calm down, maybeeeeeeeeeeeee I will address this issue again, and then again, maybe I won't. Sick? Damn, live in my shoes for a week and you will see a loving, successful marriage, far from 'sick'.

I am getting sick of this being continually brought up and then names thrown. Your words won't hurt me, I know the reality I am living. But this may be read by someone not as strong and confident as me, and your words could affect them greatly. Now I know that by me stating this, it probably won't change the way that meanies are posting, but maybe, just maybe a Scout or Administrator could ask that words such as 'gross, abnormal and sick' are kept to a minimum when referring to good members of this group.

Finally found the time to re-read Peezy's post. Maybe just Ashton and Demi are sick and not our vj members. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that.

So Peezy, here's your opportunity to clarify that comment. Was it Demi you were referring to, or all women that marry younger? And what business is it of yours if I prefer a more virile man than a 49 year old that is chubby and losing his hair? One could call that 'sick'.

Jackie i dont even know you but i thank you, as i said it is the couples opinions that matter and when it becomes everyone elses then they will be considered. Every post (most) turns into the same discussion im older, greens older, apparently Jackies older, there are a few more, do all of you that arent really think it matters what you think??? You all might be surprised to come back in a few years and see how many of you younger ones are still with your younger guys (not wishing bad luck for anyone) but its life, it can happen to you too. SO just because you dont agree as that way for yourself dont assume everyone else is gross and abnormal.
