Case is taking longer than processing time

Hi there!

 

My fiancé and I are waiting since more than 155 days to hear smth about our K1 visa. We handed in our petition on March 30th 2017 and on June 2nd 2017 we received a letter of notice but since then we have not heard anything.

Customer Service couldn't give us any further information. They told us to call again in about 5-6 weeks. By then the visa would take more than 6 months just to get a letter/notice of action. Do you have any experiences with this? What else can we do?

 

Do you know how long the process is taking in Switzerland? How long would I have to wait for an interview appointment at U.S. Embassy in Bern? How long did you wait for your doctor's appointment and wich one did you choose? (there are only 3 approved ones in Switzerland)

June didn't start yet. Everybody is waiting; you can check June filers to learn about the updates.

 

may is being processed right now most people are already 170+ 

 

so hopefully you'll get something in a few weeks (you are June 2nd so that's pretty early in June, they are processing up to May 30 right now)
