Hello My name is Kim^^ from South Korea.

If you don't have time, you can skip until the Underlined page

So, I came to USA for studying in college, graduated 2015 and tried to join US Army thru the Mavni program.

I swear in for the Army, and got the MOS as 15T.

I thought i will ship out Dec of 2015, but it didn't work out pretty well.

I still don't know what is the reason; my background checking takes forever...

So, they discharged me on June of 2017.... because background check never come back(as no nor yes)

Just unfinished background checking....

Luckily just before they discharged me, they offer me to be on Deferred Action to be legal status to be in America.

Because my visa expired date was coming.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I applied DA Jan.2017

Got approved April 25th

Apply EAD(with fee waiver form...cuz i had no income+ I couldn't make income)

On Jun

Got rejected for incorrect amount fee or not enough evidence on July

reapplied with the Fee(i had to borrow money) on Sep 14th

Rejected for incorrect amount fee(which was weird cuz 495$ was correct fee)

I got this one Sep 28th

And I got the Second Notice that my fee waiver got approved very next day....(#######????!!!!)

29th

And i got the EAD on Oct 30th

Whole process to get EAD took about 4 month for me

If it did go well, maybe  3month....

I just wanna share my case, because i only can find bad facts on the internet (ex, EAD took over 6 month to get it, after biometirc they took 18 weeks. etc)

Because of these bad facts, i was so nervous...

this is my story so far....
