It is not a form that you complete. Looks like the NOA1, except it is USCIS saying that you're petition is approved!

NOA2 was the one your spouse received when the petition was approved. Ask your spouse if he/she kept it or not.

Hi!

NOA2 isn't a form. It stands for Notice Of Action 2. Usually NOA2 is related to when you got you application to start the process to get your visa at the beginning of the process.

Where it says "K-1 Visa Holders: Submit Copy of NOA2 "Approval" for I-129F " in the guide, its referring to the notice that the American Citizen received in the mail to tell them that the I-129F had been approved and that they were sending the information to the foreign US Consulate to continue the process. This is what you need to submit. The approval letter, ask your US citizen to find it.

After you get married on a K-1 Visa you need to apply to adjust your status ASAP. Read this page for full details on how to do that http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1k3aos Good luck!

I might be wrong, but I think in one of your previous posts you mentioned you're Australian. If you feel like it pop by to the DOWN UNDER thread.

Before I moved to the USA I got something with my visa packet and with my visa saying that my k1 visa is inside the envelopes and telling me when I was to arrive to the USA by. Would that be the right one?

Oh that!! Ok now I know what it is. Our process was delayed so it's been ages since I received it. That is so helpful thanks. I notice that you are from Australia, that's where I am from, but i'm now living in the USA and as you can tell i'm trying to adjust my status correctly.

Thanks again.

I'm glad I could help, I really hope you find that old NOA2 soon!

You know, I've never seen our NOA2 since they are sent to the fiance in the US, and I haven't got there yet (interview is soon though :)). NOA2 isn't needed for my interview at the embassy either. I've got no idea what it looks like, so if I was looking for it (in the US) I wouldn't know what to look for! I'm going to ask my fiance whether he kept it or not, I'm sure he did, its got to be filed away somewhere....

Good luck :D

You can get a replacement copy, but it is pricey. Double check all your papers. Hopefully if you dont have the original one, you or your husband made a photocopy of it.

Ok I found the NOA2!!! It was on a website that my husbands immigration lawyer had set up for his clients. I wrote to the lawyer today asking him to let us copy it, and I was clear that I didn't want to pay for more lawyer services, so he let me copy it for free. Nice huh? (F)
