In addition, it's not a spin. 26 people had have all their rights denied to them as of Sunday. 

i look at it more as 26 people were failed by the federal government as this yoyo bought a gun when he was clearly NOT allowed by law to get one....

Well of course it is.  But without a link to some ideal, such as religious dominance, or similar, all I am seeing thus far is mental instability.  Brought on by?  Too early to tell.  But abuse towards women is obviously in the mix.  That is often a behavior learned at home.

He could have got it at any gun fair. We do agree that the federal government has failed on gun control since 1966, when the first mass shooting took place in Texas.

    This is all true, but it highlights part of the ongoing problem. Several mass shootings have found mental health issues or violence in the perpetrators background. A systematic failure indicates the system doesn't work.

 

    Politicians don't want to have a discussion on any aspect of the system because it amounts to political suicide to do so. So we go around in circles. My condolences in advance to the next group of victims, because it seems that's about all we're willing to do as a country. Offer our sympathy and move on.
