Hello!

On September 26th my status changed from the Biometrics appointment (which I went on the 7th of September) into "Ready to be scheduled". Any idea how long they can take until they actually schedule the interview? I know that between the day I get the letter until the interview it can be between 2/3 weeks and 1 month. My interview will probably be in Seattle.

Thanks!

Ugh...I just saw that it can take up to 214 days from that moment until the interview. At least I would expect you to be getting real soon your letter with the interview date!^_^

I moved to a different state last month due to my husband's  job and Im pregnant so we want to move somewhere cheaper to live. Seattle is expensive. So im not sure how the process will be since I moved. 😑

Did you ask for an address change?? that's the first thing you should do or the letter might end up in your WA address! Just in case, keep checking your status online to make sure they didn't scheduled the interview yet.

I should've filed the change of address in April to Pittsburgh, and has my interview here. But I didnt know I would move here permanently. We only make that decision in September after going back and forth to Seattle and I was having a bad morning sickness, so its kinda suck to travel back and forth so we decided to stay here and settle here. I filed the change of address last month and they did sent me a notification letter last week. When will they transfer my file to the new location? Would they notify me? I was kinda scare too that what if they will schedule me somewhere around my due date.!!... i mean, its unpredictable to know for sure when the baby wants to come out. It can be a month before due date or few weeks after due date. Its my first pregnancy so Im kinda worry.

Mine said ready for scheduling and we will notify you of the interview once they have scheduled the date, it took about 2 weeks until we got the notice of our interview date. Once we got the interview date it only took 3 or 4 days to get the actual letter in the mail. Our case has been very fast, so I'm really not sure why some people have long waits other then that your local USCIS site where you are interviewed might have backlogs of interviews and other immigration appointments and it just takes time to get to your case. We are in a smaller community and maybe not so busy.
