How long does it take USCIS after receiving RFE reply to process it? They received mine 1,5month ago, then 3 weeks ago status changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview, but no EAD or AP. It's been 255 days people! 😮 I am seriously on the edge, I am so so disappointed, I've been so patient, but cant handle it anymore. ..

Heyhey!

So I have my interview on Thursday(got the letter on Friday)...which came as a bit of a surprise as I have had no electronic updates (on either system) since my EAD and AP were approved in February. Hoping it all goes well but I'll give you a rundown of the interview when I finish!

We had our AOS interview on Friday and were approved 😁. It was all pretty straight forward. As long as you prepare the documentation listed on the interview notice then you shouldn't have any problems. The worst part for us was the wait, as our IO was running late so our interview ended up taking place 2 hours later than it should have (plus we arrived 30 minutes early too). The IO seemed quite stern to begin with, as we'd expected, but once we'd shown him photos from our wedding (we went back to England a few weeks ago and had a 'proper' unofficial wedding with our friends and families) he warmed up and spent the rest of the time asking us questions about England, the Royal Wedding etc.

Feels good to have reached this milestone!

Finally got the notice online that our interview has been scheduled!

After waiting with the update of "Your Interview is Ready to be Scheduled" since January 5th!

I hope this process between now and receiving the green card doesn't take too long - we have to travel up to Halifax for a wedding at the end of August 😬

fingers crossed!!

Hang on everyone - things are moving along, SLOWLY, but still moving!

You should definitely schedule an Infopass at your local office to inquire about your EAD, call and speak to a tier 2 officer, send a request to the ombudsman and also get help from your Congressman/Senator because you are totally out of processing times.

Sorry for the long wait, and good luck!

@Julia and Ryan they tend to schedule interviews about a month after the letter is issued. Just be sure to not miss the interview. The card can take about 1-2 weeks after the interview.

I was notified of my interview on June 18th, received the letter on june 23rd scheduled for july 24th. I am still waiting on my card to be delivered.

I am in touch with my Congressman's office, they helped me a lot! They told me to wait 60 days to hear back from USCIS from the day they got my RFE reply. Before that they can't do anything 😮

Heyyyy! So we got approved today! Interview was a little more intense than expected but nothing we couldn't handle.

Turned up at 0815 for a 0830 appointment and we were called at 0840. The IO asked me questions about how we met, my OH's family and how often we saw each other during our LDR. Asked for joint documents and looked at some updated pictures and approved us there and then.

Just got the email to say my card is in production.

I am so relieved. It's surprising how much this process weighs a person down subconsciously.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Hello everyone 😊 Goodmorning..

So, we had our interview last tuesday and it goes very smoothly, very well than i expected like a strict IO but no, the IO was so kind and she’s smiling all the time.. After entering the room she asked us to remain standing to do the oath and then after that she explains to me about the Combo card EAD/Travel Document and then She started asking questions about my I-485 application like what is my name, my other name before my marriage, my address, birthday, husband’s name and all the content of my Form I-485 and then she proceeds to the questions answering by yes or no and then after that she asked us about our relationship like how we met, when is our wedding, anniversaries, where is our wedding, who came to our wedding, did we talking about marriage before even when we are in LDR situation, what are we doing for fun for entertainment and then she even also asked about me if i’m pregnant 😁 She is cool, it feels like we talk like we are friends. Hehehehe!. And then done, although i did not approved on the spot but she said to me that i am most likely approved, and then afternoon of that tuesday I recieved an email from USCIS that my case change to “new card is being produced” and yesterday they sent me again an email it says “we approved your case”.. And it’s official.. I am so relief, and very happy.. Thanks to GOD for making this possible.. 😇🙏🏼

Goodluck to everyone who still waiting for their green card or interview.. God Bless everyone! ❤️ See you after 2 years 😁

Thank you! Oh, just the IO was a little more intense. He delved into where my sister and brother in law lived...which town my in laws lived in, was it the same town that my OH was born in...I was just a little shocked. It was more about the in laws than my marriage lol!
