Got an noa of approval on all three AP.  Now today my wife’s AP was updated to this...

“We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case“

Does this mean we aren’t getting her AP?  Or are they holding it because of an RFE on her 485?  And would that RFE affect her EAD?  ....or is this happening because they are also processing her EAD?

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.   Thank you in advance.

Well they sent me 512’s so we got all three AP’s.  I imagine the EAD is wrapped up in this new RFE for the 485’s.  It should get approved once I resubmit this RFE.

Had our RFE and it was an update for our I-864.   I am a 10-99 employee, so my taxable income is always crushed down pretty low, even though my gross is pretty high.  I need to add assets just in case, should I print off bank statements?  Also I have two homes and a sizeable cash net on those.  How do I document that?   Mortgage statement and a CMA on the homes?  Or is it not necessary to document?

How many of you got your interviews scheduled already? When I check my status online it said since January it is ready to be scheduled for interview, but no update yet... I filed in LA

I have mine scheduled for 27th July. My case took 2 weeks to go from 'ready to schedule interview' to 'interview scheduled', which seems to be really quick. I was expecting to wait months. I filed in San Bernadino though, so I'm guessing it's nowhere near as busy as the LA office.

@Lien08 in in NJ, my status was in ready for interview to be scheduled for 6 months before it was actually scheduled.

I checked the time on USCIS for my local office and tried finding a person in the same area a few months before i filed and check on their status. Helped me have a better idea of time i was going to wait.

I found someone in august in this platform just looking through profiles.

Why were you told to call so soon after you filed? AOS takes months. If you filed in Chicago, according to USCIS processing times, they're taking 9.5 - 15.5 months for an employment-based AOS application, and 8.5 - 27.5 months for family-based AOS applications (see below).

You can see on the table the receipt dates they're accepting case inquiries for. Your have a while before you'll be able to inquire about your case.
