Its very weird that the old site is updated to my interview is scheduled, but the new site, where you have to log in to your account has not changed, and it has been a few days from that txt/email notification. Any similar experiences?

Which one is old or new? Can you share links? Thanks

Thank you.  We desperately need our AP and EAD expedited.

If your a November 2017 filer and you did apply under the C09 category of EAD, I suggest you call and submit an out of normal processing time request instead

I just received a notification of a case update, and when I logged in it says my interview was scheduled and I'll receive a letter with the details. Anyone know how far out they schedule interviews for? I'm going back to the UK on Monday for 2 weeks, and now I'm worried I won't receive the letter until I've left, and if the interview is scheduled during those 2 weeks, I'll miss it.

I received the same text saying there's an update to my case 5 times from USCIS too - think their system is acting up!

They schedule them a month after the notice.

Great, thank you! That's put my mind at ease as I'll  be back way before then :)

I got this from the ombudsman.    This gives the impression we will Be getting our AP card.  Please correct me if I am mistaken please.   What is confusing is that I just got notified they are sending us an RFE for our 485 yesterday as well.  Which makes me wonder if they will be sending one or not.

Thank you for contacting the Ombudsman’s Office.  We have reviewed your request for case assistance and found that USCIS sent your Advance Parole Document into production on June 20, 2018.

You should receive your document by mail at the address USCIS has on file.  If you do not receive your card within 30 days, please contact USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 or through an online case inquiry.

We hope you find this information to be helpful.  Because USCIS has taken action, our office will be closing this matter.

Please consider completing the attached customer service survey.  Your feedback is important to us.

How long does it take for them to make a card after they send it into production?

Would appreciate to hear anyone’s experience with this...  thank you in advance.

Mine took a week, I've heard others took two weeks. It should be quite fast. It comes in a weird envelope and if you signed up for the USPS delivery system: it does not actually show up there.

I received the notification that my card had been approved on a Tuesday, and received the card in the mail the following Monday, so 6 days in total for me.

So far my only notification is from the ombudsman.   I’m still not sure if I believe that lol.   It’s been so long I don’t want to get my hopes up.    When the status changes on myuscis I will feel better.

I remember a few months ago reading about some November filers who received their EAD/AP in the mail without their case changing on USCIS, so you never know. It seems that some of those working on cases there don't bother updating the web portal, which is annoying.

They are probably getting used to the technology part of it.

I signed up on the new site and my status there has not changed.

But the old site (uscis.gov) has my status as interview scheduled.

🤔

I have a little question,

apparantly it can take month to have the interview date, but is it months at the moment they are saying that the case is ready to be scheduled or when they are saying that the interview is scheduled ?

Cause i have received the notification that my interview is scheufled 9 days ago and no letter in my mailbox, so I was wondering if it’s normal or not.

it’s like, any of you have been at their interview without having yet your EAD or AP ? Cause I find this strange to have my interview without having any news from the two other request, no?
