Just got a notice saying that we need to submit the Form I-693. Very annoying, since we did submit a photocopy & original document of the DS-3025, and since we are K1 that means we don't actually need the I-693.

Does anyone have the link to where it says K1 don't need to complete this requirement? I would rather take a risk of submitting a second photocopy with that information, then have to spend money we don't have on a civil surgeon.

Hi,

So as I said previously I received my AP and EAS. I wanted to check my status for my AOS on the USCIS website (damn, that's a lot of acronyms...) and it gives me the error "user defined error". Does anyone had this problem before? A couple weeks ago I was able to see my status (it said they were ready to schedule my interview, been like this since January 23rd)

I-751:

07/09: Package received by uscis

07/14: Credit card charged

07/16: Text notification (YSC center)

07/22: Fingerprints applied to my case

07/30: NOA

did it actually say "submit a new Form I-693"? or did it say, "submit it, if you have not done so already"?

also check if your ds-3025 has been marked "complete, request a blanket waiver". because if that has not been checked then yes, you need a new i-693.

Just checked the mail box today and we got our appointment letter!!!! So excited.  Scheduled for April 23rd. But there is something on there that is confusing me if anyone can help?

On the paper listing what to bring the last thing is 2 notarized affidavits from people who know my husband and I. Is this a requirement or just a suggestion?

It says:

"You are required to submit the following information as indicated. Return on or before 6/24/2018." And then below that it list "Submit a complete Form I-693", followed by information about what the form is and where to get it.

The DS-3025 was marked Complete, request a blanket waiver. We specifically made sure this was checked when he got it, because we'd heard about people having problems with it not being checked.

It looks like it is mainly people from December who are being approved now. Did they forget about us, remaining November fillers?

145 days here and counting ... so frustrating!

Hi everyone. I signed up for USPS informed delivery. Received an email today notifying me of a piece of mail being delivered but no image available. Do USCIS envelopes/ notices show on this service? Any expierences out there? I'm currently at work and unable to check my mail but it has been on my mind all day!!

I am waiting for an interview in state of NJ. 3 months as of yesterday that my status changed to ready for interview to be scheduled.

It shows that it is an envelope coming from USCIS. But maybe it did not take the picture of it correctly. I also signed up for the service and it has happened to be before.
