I created an account, but the status is the same. "Ready for interview to be scheduled" as of 1/10/18.

No other update. I guess it all depends on the office location on how often they update status of applications online.

Some seem to be better than others. Same for processing time. Which personally it is a bit frustrating but also understandable. Some offices may have less applications and or may work more efficiently than others....

i dont think its about which office is updating it really. i think the main site is pulling from a different (maybe older?) data source than the new more more up to date myuscis site. it explains the discrepancy is statuses. although i think they there is some lapse in entering the status to begin with, but that is another issue.

You are correct! I was usuing the main site and created an account on the main site. Which geve me that information.

The new site myuscis, may be better and may have more updates.

My status remains the same there however it states that they have a large volume of interviews, and this is why i may not hear from them immediatly.

Guys, today has been 15 (working) days after I raised my first request (18 straight days). Still no answer, my case tracker is still the same as last year, still no info on my work permit.

What should I do? It’s been 130 days since I started the process! Should I call again? i will be 5 months waiting for it! Am I gonna wait all the way till the 6th month?

Hi everyone.

I am in the process of AOS after arriving on a K1 visa. I have just received my request for interview so am prepping all the paperwork I need to take with me.

I see that it asks for the I-693 in a sealed envelope. I had my medical in the UK in August-17 before arriving in the US with my K1 visa and did not have submit this with my I-485 per instructions. But do I need to have the medical done again or is K1 AOS treated differently for the interview?

Also it asks for the TB skin test. This was not part of my UK medical - I had a chest x-ray and have a copy of this. Do I need to get this skin test done?

Help would be appreciated!!

Had seen this question go around, found a user who was in similar situation and mentioned this. Hope this helps.

Check out the instructions for this form. They usually have the instructions and form on uscis.gov

EAD and AP Approved March 26!

Congrats.   We are two days behind you on the NOA and at 120 days now.

I have been getting worried the processing times website has them working on cases from 10/27/17.    I was starting to lose some hope.

We sent in a service request on March 19th for the EAD, just as a hope. Our EAD was approved March 23rd, and then our AP was approved March 26th. The status for the EAD now says that the card has been mailed out, so glad to be done with this step!

I'm expecting Adjustment to take a while since my office is Dallas and they seem to be pretty busy.

Thanks!

Last week, we received an e-mail from USCIS saying, "we are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time"

This morning we received an e-mail from USCIS saying "we have taken action on your case" and to sign in to view our case status:  https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

This case tracker has not updated since Dec 7: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displayLogon.do

Case Status Tracker has also not updated here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Ok so I created an account on  https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ (I was already registered on the other case tracker) and it says that my paperwork was received November 13 and my I-485 on November 14! in the other case tracker it says that they received on November 6! Also in the case tracker nothing says besides "finger print received" but in this one it DOES say that I got an RFIE on my I-485 and that they received on December 22 (I sent it thru fedex and it said it got to them on December 19)

I already raised a request and nothing, yesterday the state sent us (me and my husband) a letter saying that if I don't provide an ITIN number or a SSN number they're gonna withhold my husband's tax returns. I dont know if I should get an ITIN number until I get my SSN.

Should I call the USCIS office again to see what happened?

what's stopping you from getting your SSN?

getting your SSN is not at all dependent on your EAD/AP nor AOS.
