congratulations! The more I read about people's cases the more blatant it is that  (as another poster sort of put it) there really is no predicting anything with uscis. Expect the unexpected I guess!  I would have never guessed they would set interviews before they give a work permit!!

I know there is no rhyme or reason with the way they process cases, its very frustrating!

They received my file on 20 Nov. No I didn't get any updates about EAD.

Our NOA1 for AOS is November 24. Biometrics were on 12-29. No update to our case since 12-7. Still waiting here!

Same here.   11/27 NOA1 and 12/26 Biometrics.  

 

Hoping the VJ estimate is somewhat accurate.

That's what I keep hearing is just keep checking the mail. Maybe they're too busy to update online statuses??. 

I do the same, check the mail every day and refresh my case status online multiple times a day...

Them being too busy should not be an excuse to not update the online statuses, they should be more organized than that, I cannot understand how their system works, makes me very frustrated.

So still no updates for me... getting very frustrated since I see plenty of people filing weeks after me getting their EADs weeks ago or their AOS ready for interview.. I put in a case inquiry online last week, they will get back to me by Feb 17th..

I had thought I hit the 90 day waiting time today, but someone told me weekends and holidays don't count since the office is closed, if that is the case, I am only around 61 days pending...! 54 days if they paused the case because of my RFIE and until they received my response. And I still have yet to receive a notice that they received my requested documents... They are really taking their time. 

Trying to be optimistic but today is one of they days I am not. Just so frustrated.

I hope that they either sent us our EAD already without updating the tracker or they are currently working on it now. lol.

Just got an email saying the work permit was approved! Did anyone get the AP with the work permit because we didn't hear anything about that. Hopefully it's a combo card!

I got an email saying my work permit was approved and then an hour later another email about the AP.  But before I got the email about  AP, I asked the same Q. It will likely will be a combo card if you applied for both is what I understand! USCIS is not so consistent with the updates for every case unfortunately.

 

I just received an email saying my card has been mailed ( only the ead case # was updated so far ) 😀

If you have applied for AP as well , you should get two approval letter in your mailbox ( one for AP and one obviously, for the work permit) . I didn't get any email or text message although I submitted that form to be sent the notifications. the approval letters arrived one week after I ve seen  the approval on the Uscis page and after other 2 days I got the combo card.
