Thank you! Oh, just the IO was a little more intense. He delved into where my sister and brother in law lived...which town my in laws lived in, was it the same town that my OH was born in...I was just a little shocked. It was more about the in laws than my marriage lol!

Mine was similar, except the IO focused on the dates of the first few times that I had traveled to the US to visit my wife. He checked all the stamps in my passport to see if they matched up with the info we'd provided. I had renewed my passport since then, but luckily I took my old passport to the interview too so had the evidence to hand.

Received our interview notice!

Got the notification text that our case has been updated on July 31, had the letter in hand August 4, interview is scheduled for September 19.

In the letter it requests you bring your medical I-693 (unless already submitted), I was going to bring a copy (even though it was already submitted  - can never be too prepared!) but by the time of the interview it will have been expired 2+ weeks.  I have read that K1 applicants adjusting don't need to redo their medical because it was originally submitted within the year of its validity, but have seen contradictory statements regarding this.  Off to do more research!

Congratulations! As long as your medical was valid (within 1 year) when you filed for AOS, then you don't need another one. You would only need another medical if more than 1 year had passed from the point at which you filed for AOS to the date of your interview. As you filed in November, you'll be fine. I was in a similar situation to you when I had my interview and didn't have any issues.

Mail can take up to ten business days depending on where you live
Interviews are typically scheduled about a month out from when the notification is given so I say you still got some time before worrying
Perhaps give them till the weekend
