Our rfe was when we did the I129F for the fiancé visa, not anything with AOS/EAD/AP. All of our statuses haven't changed from when they originally received our applications. How long after applying did you get the rfe? Did you track it and make sure that it was delivered? Maybe you can call and speak to a Tier 2? Sorry my friend...

december 1 month after we submit

Our tracker still says fingerprint fee recieved.... but my husband got the combo card. And that part is updated. So if I was sent an RFE wouldn't it say on the tracker? I don't believe we were sent one but reading all these comments has me nervous. What if they sent one and it was lost in the mail or something?

Yeah that’s my desperation too, my USCIS case tracker is still the same since november and still says “fingerprint fee received” or something like that, not even that I got an RFIE or if they got it, so I’m basically in limbo here.

Same here, no updates in my online tracker after doing biometrics, receiving a RFIE or them receiving my RFIE response..

Well today I already made a case inquiry because my work permit was out of date. They will let me know in 15-30 days what is going on. Fingers crossed!

Good luck, I made my 3rd case inquiry online a few days ago, all of them have been ignored so far. "currently not assigned for processing" is what it says on my profile.

Well today marks my 118 day waiting for my EAD and AP (75 days since they received the documents from the RFIE on dec 19) and now I have to call them on monday to make an inquiry or something as I will be officially out of regular processing time or something like that...

I never thought I would wait that long, or stay unemployed for so long. A couple days ago was my birthday and it’s hard that I don’t have money for myself.

I was looking for volunteering but honestly I don’t want to go all the trouble of applying, interviewing and spending money going every day to something I wont get rewarded. I rather stay at home and do housework. I started running and going to the gym so I have that.

I feel your pain, I am in the same shoes. RFIE received and they got my reply Dec 13th and so far nothing has happened.. I asked my local senator's office to help, they got a bullshit answer from USCIS that everything is on hold until they get around to review my RFIE documents... 3 months and they haven't done anything. It's so frustrating. I have 2 employers waiting for me and a third one wants me do do part time work in the summer starting in May. This fiasco better be resolved by then.

Just thought everyone would like an update from us as well. We are done with all the preliminary steps, and got her combo card. Just waiting patiently for our interview. Hope everyone hangs in there. As you can see pushing some things doesn’t help much.

What was your NOA1 date for AP/EAD?  When did you get approved?  We are patiently waiting and looking at timelines but I don't see that you have one.

I would't worry about an RFE.  You could always call and ask to speak to a Tier 2 to ask.  That way you can put your mind at ease :)

When they mail out EAd/AP cards does it ship DHL?

I have an unidentified incoming package from Melrose park Illionois.    Mailed Friday.

Was curious how others received their docs.

they use USPS priority mail

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS
