I just got the text that my status was updated for EAD and just checked my cases:

On January 25, 2018, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization ,

Yay! Nothing for AP yet though...

Congratulations!!!. Your AP should also be approved. I got similar notification and there was nothing on AP. In my NOA (which I received yesterday) I received both the approvals. I got another notification today saying my card (EAD+AP) has been sent to me. USPS informed delivery shows it will be delivered on Monday. :) Unfortunately we both travel for work so I wont be able to check my mail until Thursday. :|

So I don't want to get your hopes up but  when I checked on the internet my cases, only the EAD case was updated on January 20th. I just checked again on USCIS website the status for my AP and it still says "My case was received" (since november) and yet, I received yesterday by mail my card for EAD/AP!

I-751:

07/09: Package received by uscis

07/14: Credit card charged

07/16: Text notification (YSC center)

07/22: Fingerprints applied to my case

07/30: NOA

That's what I keep hearing is just keep checking the mail. Maybe they're too busy to update online statuses??.

Oh good!!  Thanks for letting me know, I was wondering about that.

I wonder how long does it take for them to mail the card? Did your status update to ' card being produced' ?

@ssaket to

My status changed from "Case Was Received" to "Card Being Produced". It never said "Case Was Approved". In about 4 days it got updated to "Card Was Mailed To Me" and then AP status was updated to "Case Was Approved". I read somewhere in this forum that there is no "Rhyme or Rhythm" to USCIS and if you accept that fact, you'll have less frustrations. :)

On 1/18 USCIS updated to "Card being Produced". Got the approval letter in the mail on 1/22. USCIS updated to "Card was mailed" on 1/25 and we received it on 1/27.

We did indeed get the Combo Card.

Also, if you are tracking your USPS mail via Informed Delivery, when they mail you your EAD card they use Priority Mail. For us it did not show up as an incoming letter or mail. It showed up as an incoming "Package"(even though it wasnt, it was a regular letter). So it never showed up on my daily emails. I had to go to USPS website and in my account check under "Packages" and there it was.

Just letting you all know so that way when you have confirmation that your card has been mailed, if you dont see it for regular mail check under "Packages" also because thats where it was for us.

That's how ours was, too - it didn't show up as a letter in USPS Informed Delivery, but as a package that was only visible once we logged in.
