Still waiting.. No updates on my case. USCIS received my case on Nov.6, I had biometrics on Dec. 10. It still says “case received November 6” online. I am currently on OPT through the F1 Visa and my current work permit expires in three weeks. Hoping i will receive EAD asap, so I won’t have to take leave from work as I am the main source of income in our household.

We have a similar timeline, just hang in there, I'm sure you'll hear something soon. :) I did not apply for an AP/EAD though so I'm not sure if it has to do with my case being adjudicated a bit quicker. Though I think it's unlikely as I heard it usually depends  on how busy one's local office is.

Hang in there. They received our package on 11/3 and my wifes EAD was just approved on 1/18. Based on this I would say you should hear something very soon!!

I have the same exact PD as you. I haven't heard anything since biometric. I raised an online SR today because i'm getting really worried now

Got the interview letter! Yay! For those who has been scheduled for an interview, does your letter says ‘Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Interview’ as well? I’m just curious/anxious that maybe this is not the ‘final interview’ cause it was just addressed to me. Does the petitioner receive an interview letter as well?

I got the same letter.  The petitioner will not receive a letter, however, the petitioner is required to appear at the USCIS office with you for the interview.  The letter states that as well.

hey all,

I'm sending out my AOS package soon. Did any of you decide to not send the I-693 (medical examination), and wait to take it to interview? If so, has anyone actually got a RFE for not sending in the medical with the package? I don't want it to expire, so would rather wait to take it to interview. However, I don't want to risk an RFE and risk delaying my EAD/AP!

I did not send the 693 with the AOS package, and have not got a RFE. But I wrote in my cover letter that the medical i693 will be provided later on. I’ve done the medical now though, but I’m just going to bring it to the interview instead of mailing it separately now. Still waiting for EAD/AP though, been 79 days.

You don't get an RFE for not including I-693, as it is optional to include it in the initial submission. Normally you should receive a yellow courtesy letter if your I-693 was not submitted with the original packet. Just make sure it is up to date and bring it with you to the interview.

So your RFE just reminded you to bring it to your interview date? It wasn't expected immediately before they continued with your case?

Hi everyone,

I am a November filer as well, I haven't been too active on this site but I'm curious as to some of your timelines that you indicate a priority date - is that because you requested priority?
