But Trump said the unemployment numbers were wrong and fake and real unemployment is like 30%?

They are under-represented.  You have to look at the definition of each level of unemployment, as the definitions were modified under Obama.  The biggest glaring change was that if a person was out of a job for a certain period (3 months?  6 months?  Can’t remember), then they are no longer considered unemployed, since they couldn’t get work within that period, and could be assumed to be staying at home by choice.  (U6 vs. U3 vs. U1, etc.)
