I 129f cannot be filed in Brazil?

Planning on using the k1 visa to get my Brazilian gf here to start a family, but I see the I129f "cannot be filed in Brazil." I don't understand. Why do they name Brazil specifically since this form can't be filed anywhere outside the U.S.? Please advise.

It mentions Brazil because it's on the US embassy in Brazil's website. Ie, that website is only about Brazil, you would have to visit other US embassy websites to see the same thing for the other countries.

 

You file the i-129f to the Texas lockbox. It can't be filed in another country than the US.
