God, this is so pathetic. When are we going to stand up to the fence jumpers?

given the quantity of apologists, enablers, and outright illegal cheerleaders i see on vj, not likely to happen.

oh so now there are "coyotes" in VJ too??

so how do u know there are 'enablers'? I don't see any1 going to the May 1st rally, or sending money to the churches that help crossers on the borders

Do they? I always thought it was pretty anti-illegal immigration on here. Who would you consider to be some of the cheerleaders?

Enablers and many people in denial too it seems.

Terrorism and illegal immigration both.

Instead of introducing lame legislation like this that rewards these people for breaking the law...why not pass laws that require them to return home to get a student visa from the US embassies in their own countries in order to even attend these colleges & universities? Isn't that the way it is supposed to happen anyway?

Why this love affair with illegal aliens? Why do these idiot fall over themselves thinking of new ways to reward these a$$holes for breaking the law?

So lets get this Right.... Mom and Dad illegal bring son to USA from whereverland... they are all illegal.... son goes to grade school and then junior high and then high school.... he is a bright kid and has done very well in school.... now he wants to go to college... so you want him to be returned to a country he has not lived in since he was 5 years old to file for a student visa... just so he can finish his education...

Did the son ask to be brought to the USA.... no Is it his fault he has no legal status... no Should be be punished for something he had no control over... I dont think so...

P.S there are more Irish and europeen illegals in Boston then Hispanics/south americans

Technically, if he's illegal he shouldn't be in a state funded public school either

Not to mention the apologists, enablers, and outright illegal cheerleaders in the Republican party. And the Democrat party. They just want the Hispanic vote. They think if they come out against illegals, they won't get it. Y'know what...they're probably right.

I cringe to state this, but it may take a Nellie-style incident (the nominative one occured in Feb. 1983, in the northeastern Indian state of Assam; local tribesmen specifically targetted and murdered a large number of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, while sparing migrants from other parts of India) before any decision is made in DC to stand up.

Don't blame us for enforcing the law; blame his mother and father for breaking it in the first place. They're the bad guys.

P.S there are more Irish and europeen illegals in Boston then Hispanics/south americans

I find that hard to believe, but it's certainly not the case in my state (Texas) where 6% of the state's entire population is made up of (mostly Hispanic, mainly from Mexico) illegal aliens. Just think of the crippling costs to the rest of us to provide services to these people that they are not legally entitled to. No more! Texas will NOT become another California.

So?..... illegal immigration isn't about race.
