Hello!

Today I got my EAD letter saying they approved me and that they will be sending the card soon. It says as well about the dates between the EAD is valid (it says from October 27th of this year until next year around the same date). Now my question is..can I start searching for a job and if they accept me then just show that paper or do I have to wait for the card? And if so..how long does it take for the card to arrive? it started to be produced last week on the 27th.

April 2017 - NOA2 (6 months!)

April 2017 - Arrived to NVC

April 2017 - Got the # from NVC

May 2017 - Case left NVC

19th Dec. 2018 - Interview date  [16 months]

Dec. 2018 - GC processing

29th Dec. 2018 - GC arrived home! [10 days!]

You can start looking for a job while card arrives. You need physical card to show to any employer the way I understand the process.
