Our visa has been in AP since my fiance went on his interview in August and he received a 221g later on we got 2 more emails issuing 221gs. We responded to the last one last thursday and now our status changed yesterday from AP to Ready. What could it be?

Ready is a good sign it means they are processing through it. It goes to ready before it goes to issued . You will see dates change till you are eventually issued the visa :)
