Hey guys!  How long did it take from the day your petition was since to NVC for NVC to receive it?  

 

My service center was Nebraska.

Nebraska was fast it took 13 days for me..... I have heard people waiting a month before NVC received anything

Finally found out our petition was sent to NBC (National Benefits Center) by error. They sent it back to Nebraska last week.  We have had our congressman office involved and they are demanding a expedite.  Hoping to hear more next week.

Us. 11/13/2017. We just requested an infopass appointment because of being outside of normal processing times. I don't expect to learn anything useful though.

I received an email today about my packet and about needing to send another police report because it ia expired even though it has 3 months till and He got it aug 30! I called them to explain and was encountered with a rude representative and then he hung up on me after I asked to speak to someone else!

That is crazy!  I was under the impression that even if it says expired in 3 months, etc.  That our government recognizes it for a year.  Guess that is not the case....

Acording to him, it will be expired by the time the case is complete 🙄 but that makes no sense since they have it now and is still good for another 2 months. I said if we dont know when the case is complete wouldnt the next one we send be expired too!? Well, he hung up on me after telling him if there was someone else i can talk to and that he was rude, he said if u want to speak to someone else call again and hung up! I will be calling again later and see what another agent says about it because the police certificate is NOT expired.

If you can, get a congressional caseworker involved!  Typically they can figure out what is going on, and light some fires!  That is what we had to do.

Just need to vent a minute and also see if anyone has come across this... and maybe some advice on what I can do? 

My cases were approved 7/31/2018 and sent to NVC 8/8/2018. As of today, the NVC has not received them. I sent an email to the NVC research and they said they haven't received them. I called NVC and they said to send a letter to USCIS to request to resend them. I sent the letter and then talked to USCIS and said they won't do anything about resending them until 90 days after they already sent them. They won't look at resending until November 8th.  This means a 3+ month delay in my case. How does it take 90 days to get from Nebraska to NH??

hi guys, i am in the process of putting my package together to be sent off to nvc. As it pertains to the police record, should i send a copy in my package and hang on to the original for the interview or should it be vice versa ............ Now i was also told the the police record will on be good for three months( Jamaican police record) keeping my fingers crossed that i wont have any issues with it.
