Hi, guys! Had my interview for ROC and naturalization. It lasted one and a half hours. With about 30 minutes wait before that. At the end, the officer said that another person will need to review what he put together for the I751 after interviewing me, but he said he'll recommend both my cases for approval and that he thinks I'll be a citizen by the end of the month.

He only asked me six Civics questions since I answered all correctly. Also, I had to read: "Who elects congress?" And then write down the answer: "The people elect the congress." He also went through all the "yes or no" questions with me. Like have you ever been a terrorist and such. He spent most of the hour and a half asking questions about my relationship. How I met my husband, when the courtship began, how often we saw each other, when he proposed, when we got married, on what visa I came to the US. He asked me about my work and my husband's work. I handed him my marriage certificate, updated statements from all our joint accounts, latest tax returns from 2017 and our mortgage statement and grant deed. He did say "You don't have children together, but you have all your financials and mortgage together." Based on that he approved me. I had lots of other proof with me such as pictures, and joint car purchase and rentals, vacation tickets, but he didn't ask for those.

He also talked about the timeline of where we lived together and where I have lived before coming here.

Since we purchased a house, I had to request a change of address on both my ROC and my naturalization apps. When I changed my address, they confirmed in an email and they also stated in that email that both my apps will be adjudicated together. He asked me to see that email and he forwarded it to himself. It seems like he wanted written proof that he is suppose to review both cases in the interview.

My husband was there with me, but he was not interviewed. He just waited for me outside. He was not called in.

Best of luck, everybody! Almost there!

248 days here...Las Vegas 😞

I can beat that, 262 days for me. The next oath ceremony in our district isn't until mid-September. Hopefully, we'll get positive news from USCIS soon!

Does anyone know how many weeks/ days before an oath ceremony they send out the letters? I'm wondering if I should get an oath scheduled any day now, or if the fact that I haven't gotten it yet means that I won't get the September oath ceremony.

The commonest pattern is 4 weeks (give or take a few days) to the next oath. Unless there is a special ceremony coming up then you may get it earlier. Also a few people who ask for an early scheduling due to an upcoming trip abroad (in one case she was relocating with her military spouse) do get scheduled within days also. I hope you get an oath notice soon.

Out of interest, did every November  I 751 / early N 400 interview get lumped together?

I just spoke to USCIS (just the regular call center person) but she was adamant that the I 751 would happen first, and only THEN would i get updates on N 400 application. I explained how on various forums, ppl say they're lumped together, and done as one interview, she was very very steadfast that there would be two interviews, under no circumstance one.

Just thought i'd touch base w everyone on the world wide interweb.
