My interview date is July 12th. my.uscic.gov was updated with tbe interview notice and letter this morning. I will update the tracker once i receive the letter in the mail.

{Day 238} 07/12/2018 Interview Day - Approved

{Day 242} 07/16/2018 Oath Scheduled

I received notification that my N400 interview has been scheduled. Just waiting on the letter and hoping they will combine N400 with I-751.

No I don’t. By the time I got my GC we had been married 2 yrs so I got a permanent one.

I had my interview yesterday and this morning I got the electronic case update.

Checked online and my case was approved, now waiting for Oath ceremony.

 

It seems in Houston the wait time for Oath ceremony is around 2 month.

With international travel coming up in early August, a ceremony mid August would be great, mid June would be cutting it a little to close for travel.

 

Interview was very entertaining the officer and I joked and laughed a lot.

Questions went so fast, that I hardly remember them (I have been studying for the civics test now around 2 years).

I had my interview today at 8:40 AM. Called in after almost waited for 40 mins. The IO was nice. He verified some information before he start taking the test. Put me under oath and then went through my application. He asked me for my Passport, Green Card, Social and Selective service Registration card. I had no disclosed any traffic tickets, but he asked me that if i paid all the tickets. Asked me 

When the deceleration was adopted.

We elect president after how many years.

Who live in america before Europeans arrived.

 

very easy. Then at the end he asked me to do electronic signatures on few documents and a handed me the Doc that said Congratulation recommended for approval and pass the test. 

 

He mentioned that i will receive the oath ceremony notice in next 2 weeks. 

 

Overall it was a good experience. I prepared so many documents but he didn't ask for any. Better be safe than sorry. My case status updated right away. 

 

Good luck to everyone who scheduled for their interviews and also to those who are waiting for it to be scheduled.
