Thanks! I believe I uploaded both the letter and the green card pictures at my n400 forms online...

 

I will prob schedule an infopass whenever there is one available (lol) and then I will ask for the stamp bringing a copy of the extension letter since I don't have the original and a copy of the document that proves I went for biometrics for I751. On top of that I will bring my 2yearGC and ( NOA for n400 just in case they ask)

Now that the status on the ELIS website has been updated, the letter should also be there later today.

This is new to me. so when i log in to myaccount. uscis.dh.gov and see the status there is no change from Dec 7th, 2017 which is basically "We are working on your case and nothing to be done" 

 

When i go to Elis : https://public-prod-elis2.uscis.dhs.gov/efile/app/app/#!/dyn/case/submitted/, the message i see is below. Is this an error? 

 

Status Message:USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice.

What does it say here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

 

That's still the MOST accurate. It updates sooner than the new version of the ELIS Account.

 

If the onl case status page has that same message, give it a day, and tomorrow you will be able to see the appointment letter in your ELIS account.

Then it means no action has been taken yet...

 

If and when they actually schedule an interview for you, the first one to change will be https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do. Then later on the same day, the new version of the ELIS account will also change to the new status update, and eventually, the day after, you will be able to see the appointment letter posted in your "Documents" tab.

Hello,

Please advice me if anyone here had experience in this case.

I applied for my I-751 in November 2016. Then I applied for my N-400 in November 2017. And I just received my N-400 interview letter (about 2 months after sending my application) today. But I still have not received my 10 year green card yet. I remember I read some where that I will get an interview for my I-751 on the same date of N-400 interview. Should I go by myself or I have to go with my husband? I am currently our of the country until May, so I have to change my flight back for this interview. But I just found out that there were some cases they cancel your interview appointment sometime. If they do so, I will come back for nothing.

I was under the impression that the citizenship will over ride the green card case.  Anyways she said even if my citizenship application was approved I should mention to the officer that my ROC is still pending. She said that if I get my citizenship before my ROC that in the future there may be a lot of problems (not sure what kind of problems )

In the end I got the stamp and everything but is any one in the same boat as I am?

 

 

I went for a passport stamp, and the officer said your n-400 would not be processed if your ROC is pending. And I just received my n-400 interview letter. I don't think officers know everything.

I saw some people saying Chicago field office refused to conduct their citizenship interviews because of their pending ROC. You might want to search about it. But I think it's only the Chicago office.

Thank you for that. I have been researched everywhere, and everyone said different things. I live in Phoenix, so I hope everything will be ok. I can see it happened to couple people in Chicago office only. It seems like Phoenix office is working very fast, I received interview letter after 2 months.  I am out of country right now, and I have to pay $750 to change my flight to get back on time. Hopefully, I am not going to waste my money for nothing.

What a predicament to be in, Kelly&Tommy.

 

If I were in your situation, I would perhaps try to get in touch with your local field office and enquire as to whether they do interview N-400 applicants who, at the time of the interview, have a pending I-751. That would probably the only thing to give you 100% peace of mind.

Thank you. I already emailed them, and will try to call them but honestly calling uscis to get the right person is not something easy.
