It shows 19 months, but in fact it only takes around 3 months. You can see someone filed in November in 2017 and approved in January.

I had applied for ROC removal of conditions on November 2016 but after biometrics I have yet not heard any updates on this case, and Now I just assume it got ''frozen'' since the N400 is what is being processed?

When I go to the uscis website still shows error message ''fees were waived'' on my ROC. (Fees were never requested to be waived, I called they said it was an error long time ago.)

 

MY estimated completed case is for september 2018. Biometrics were done in december 2017.

 

Questions:

 

1-Wondering if anyone has a similar case? did anyone else not receive updates on ROC's of 2016?

2-Does it really gets ''cancelled'' and now I should just worry about n400?

 

3-What are you guy's estimated completed case and when was your biometrics done? Thanks!

 

I had a similar situation, My ROC was Nov 3, 2016 in Vermont and Nov 2, 2017 I applied for N400. I was thinking that ROC will be frozen according to people saying here but I got approval recently and received the 10 years card a few days ago. So there is no rule actually, everyone is different and every office id different.

Is the old DHS tracking accurate? I checked mine in there and it says interview has been scheduled. I tried checking it on the USCIS website but it’s says Biometric has been reviewed. 

 

The date it’s accepted is correct and the paper application. I don’t know if this is reliable.

No it's not. The new myaccount webpage is accurate. You can also check track status on the main page. SA field office seems to have average of 8mo total processing time, from filing to interview 6 mo.

I am personally not aware of special processing time. But I bet they could give a second look. I recommend that you take an Infopass appt. to talk to an officer and explain your situation. Take all the moving documentation with you original and a copy. Keep checking for appt. opening for tomorrow. If appt. for tomorrow doesn't show up, check early AM around 4 or so. Also, 281N has a lot of construction plus too much traffic all the time, leave an hour before your apt, if you are coming from Helotes, make that 2.

Hi All

 

Had my interview today. Here is my detailed experience:

 

Venue: Charlotte field office, NC

Time: 3:05pm

 

Arrived at venue 30 mins before. I was called by IO at around 3:40pm. He had my i751 abuse waiver application file ready on his desk. He had gone through my case and asked me if I was safe now. I replied positively. 

 

- Asked me to read 1 statement "When is Thanksgiving Day"

- Asked me to write 1 statement "Independence Day is celebrated in July"

- Asked following 6 questions:

1. Name 1 of the longest river of USA?

2. Who is the current Speaker of house?

3. What do we call first 10 amendments made to constitution?

4. How many years is president elected for?

5. When was the constitution adopted?

6. 1 more which I can't recall

 

Rapid fire questions for all the questions answered on my n400 form for abiding by constitution and not being involved with any of the crazy things listed there.

 

I had opted for name change from my spouse's name back to my maiden name. To which he gave me 2 options:

1. Continue with spouse's name and he will put me for oath ceremony for next week. Naturalization certificate would have spouse's name and would never change in this lifetime with respect to naturalization

2. Case to be transferred to Federal court and I will have to appear in court depending on judge's availability. Judge can certify my name change and I can take oath ceremony in the court. This would take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months

 

I went for option #2 as I did not want to have my spouse's name on such an important document for entire lifetime.

 

He asked me to send him 2 passport size photographs by Feb 10 (30 days) failing which my application can be denied.
