No, it won't.

 

They will simply NOT schedule you for any interview before you actually qualify for it; simple as that.

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

I received notification that my N400 interview has been scheduled. Just waiting on the letter and hoping they will combine N400 with I-751.

My 5 year anniversary date is also 2/14, but unfortunately, we won't be even put in line for interview until 1 month before our anniversary date.

My status changed to the attached below on 12/8 after biometrics on 12/7. Is this normal or a glitch? have anyone seen something like this?

Go to the new website by clicking that link on the homepage of your dashboard "Try it now;". I've heard that it's a glitch w/ the old version and the new version corrects it.

Interesting that your paper application in Houston is moving faster than the two online applications in Houston (who both went in for fingerprints before you)

04/2006 - came to US as L1 employee

04/2010 - got married

11/2010 - submitted AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765)

05/2011 - Welcome letter arrived in the mail

11/2017 - Filed for naturalization (Online Houston office)

11/2017 - Biometrics

06/2018 - Interview (passed)

06/2018 - Case approved notification

I think its a glitch, after switching to the new website it changed to Biometrics is being reviewed.

uscis  emailed me this morning, that there is no status update since biometrics. :wacko:

 H1b ---> EB-1A (I-140) ---> I-485 AOS(Green Card) ---> 5 years --->  US Citizenship N400 application

  • Day 0:  11/16/2017, e-filing N400
  • Day 306:  9/18/2018,  interview day--passed and in line for oath.
  • Day 332: 10/15/2018, Oath Day

They send a status update every two weeks...

Just updating that we did the biometrics appointment on December 11th. It was scheduled earlier and we had to move it back. I just 
checked online and it says the interview was scheduled today. We'll be anxiously awaiting that in the mail!

GC-Date: The 'Resident Since' Date located on your first green card.
Sent: Date N-400 was mailed to USCIS.
Cashd: Date your check was cashed / credit card was charged by USCIS.
NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview

ECD: Estimated completion date as reported in USCIS website for your case in months
