Hi all, i am just seeing who are the best company to go with to move all my belonging over to USA from UK, i have search and i have had some quotes and they are $$$$ so some advise would be good

Struggling with this too, but from Switzerland... looking forward to answers, I am sure most moving companies operate in different European countries anyways. I am currently looking into Packimpex which is located here though I think, but I saw a lot of people from the UK use Crown Relocations on the Expat Forum in my country (not this Forum). Can't say anything about their service but there is lots of reviews online, some are not that great though.

Who have you got quotes with already?

 

It's a very expensive process. So much so that I sold everything I didn't need and managed to fit all my belongings in four suitcases I had on my flight with me. It was also nice as it then gave me more money to put straight into my bank account.

 

They also charge you for the handling, import process and some other random junk which bumps the price up.
