Hi everyone,

Old member here, VJ helped me file for my K1 back in 2014 without the help of a lawyer and it went so smoothly! I have no clue what my old information is so excuse the fresh account.

I'm in a little predicament that I can't find an answer to on Google. My 2nd extension letter is about to expire next month, and my case is still just transferred to TX. What can I do to ensure that I have something to give my work for work authorization? I have a pretty great job right now and I do not want to jeopardize it in any way. I know that I still remain a legal resident, but I really want (need?) something I can provide them with to ensure I'm still authorized to work in their system.

Is an info pass I-551 stamp in my EU passport sufficient for this?

yes

are you a November 2017 filer?

Thank you! And yes I am, I technically filed in October with a request to waive the fee (Wife was diagnosed with...something unpleasant and money was very tight). I received the package back without any response to the waiver, so we borrowed money and filed again in November.

I've been checking 50 i-751 case statuses starting with EAC18061XXXXX around mine and I see 2-5 case activities every day (RFEs/Approvals), so hopefully we some activity on our cases soon.

Meanwhile, I got a notification (email and text) that my N-400 interview was scheduled. When logged in, the uscis.gov website has that message, the dhs website still says "We reviewed your biometrics".

Hope they upload the letter so I can find out the date. Also, I hope this will be a combo interview since my i-751 is pending.

Either way, this process is way too anxiety inducing.
