I got a text this morning from uscis. We were issued an rfe. At least the case has been touched...I didn’t include my tax returns so I’m hoping that’s all that’s needed. I’d rather they just interview us & get it over with. We’re together every day, just don’t document everything. Originally I included some photos, bank statements, written affidavits, copies of our health insurance through my job...I can’t think of what else would work???

I am the petitioner.

I'm thinking maybe they might ask for some kind of proof of joint property - like a property deed, or a lease.  Did what you sent originally cover the entire period from marriage?

Still waiting for ROC approval.  Will be out of town for three weeks.

A quick question to ROC approved guys: When you get your card, do you get in ordinary mail?  If I do hold mail at USPS, will they keep my card or return it.  Have seen a card could not deliver message.

For the N-400 applications, did you guys submit similar proof to the i751? I am thinking to submit all legal documents (tax, lease, bank etc) but skipping out pictures/cards or personal artifacts.

I submitted bank statements Jan-Dec 2017, mortgage, car and house insurance, tax returns. Not a single picture of us.

Yeah...we rent a house with my brother. His is the only name on the place. The landlord didn’t want to put 3 people on it. They don’t care about situations like that, I guess. His name might be on the phone contract I have with my parents phone plan though-don’t judge me-it all saves money.

I am the petitioner.

My case was EAC180480. but anyways idk how they work cuz I've saw cases that were after mine that were approved before mine. My gc expired feb 2017 but I decided to apply when my 90 days window opened and that was Nov 17th.  And I quote somebody that got approved and said congratulations

Approval of I-751 is very random process.  Almost 80 cases of my group ( EAC18061XXXX) of 338 was approved.  A few cases around me were approved, but not mine.  So option is to wait for your turn to come and hear the good news.  Our ultimate goal is to get citizenship and that why I applied N-400 and got my passport stamp until Jan 2020.

Hi everyone,

Old member here, VJ helped me file for my K1 back in 2014 without the help of a lawyer and it went so smoothly! I have no clue what my old information is so excuse the fresh account.

I'm in a little predicament that I can't find an answer to on Google. My 2nd extension letter is about to expire next month, and my case is still just transferred to TX. What can I do to ensure that I have something to give my work for work authorization? I have a pretty great job right now and I do not want to jeopardize it in any way. I know that I still remain a legal resident, but I really want (need?) something I can provide them with to ensure I'm still authorized to work in their system.

Is an info pass I-551 stamp in my EU passport sufficient for this?
