I-751 filed in November 2017, we have not received the 18 month extension letter as of yet, official or unofficial, I did submit an online inquiry and received an email back stating I will get a reply back by 12/20, my husband called USCIS and was told that because I submitted the online inquiry there was nothing further they could do and to call back on 12/13 if we have either not gotten an email response or letter in the mail. My husbands green card expires 12/24, is there anything else we can do to get extension letter before green card expires?

The only thing I can think of is for you guys to take an infopass appointment and get an I-551 stamp on your husbands passport. This way if he needs to get a new job or travel, it should serve as proof of residence.

Infopass appointments are not available at our local office

Unfortunately, infopass for the stamp is the only option. We eventually managed to get an appointment at our local office (an hour away) but it took ages and a lot of constant checking. We also had taken an appointment at an office 9 hours away since that’s all that was available for a long time. We got lucky and eventually snagged an appointment at 10am in a Tuesday for the following day. You may find a lot

of last minute openings closer to the holidays as people cancel for travel but appointments disappear fast. He has a stamp now for another year and they said a decision should come within six months.

Best of luck-it was incredibly frustrating trying to get the appointment .

I also requested online for 18 months original extension letter.  They said that they replied on Nov 13, 2018 but I did not get anything by mail.  Not sure, they act on our request or just computer sent a standard reply

Applied for N400 in the start of Nov, did my biometrics end of Nov and today I see I have a informed delivery piece of mail coming that says Jury Summons.  Too bad I am not a citizen yet, I think serving on a jury would be immensely interesting  not to mention a honor.

Anyone received a jury duty letter before, do we just mail it back stating we are not a citizen and thus can not serve? do we have to show up at the court to do it? online? if it makes any difference I live in Los Angeles County .

applied for N400 whilst I751 was pending, however I751 was approved without an interview on Jan 10th /11th

N-400 applied Online: 11/7/18

BIO for N400 : 11/30/18

EST. Case Completion: October 2019) of 7/15/19

INTERVIEW: 10/7/2019- APPROVED

OATH DATE: 10/24/2019-  received oath letter in the mail on 10/11

Hopefully, they will start case # starting EAC1806100001 onward.  They are sitting from  April 9, 2019.  Some of the case such as EAC1806100005, and EAC1806100019 etc are transfer cases

They approved some September 2017 filers last week so we still got about two months to wait. =)

Check status of EAC 180610001 to EAC1806100319-  around 40 cases were transferred.  The last one EAC1806100282 on Dec 12th.  So they might be warming up .
