Quick update here. We got our "official" 18 month extension letter about a month ago. Today we got a new letter that they transferred our case from California to Nebraska service center. The transfer is kinda confusing since we got notice in Feb. that the case was sent to our local office. I would have thought that meant my local USCIS branch. I guess not.

What's the first 5 of your case number @redleg627, For e.g mine is WAC18052*****

Hi Redleg627,

PDX filer here as well. Earlier this year, I saw an update online that my case had been transferred to the local office in March. When I called USCIS in April/May to follow up, they checked and clarified my case was still in California, not the local office. Apparently this was not a bad thing because the delays at field offices were far worse than the California service center. Till date, the location status of my case has not changed online. So it is anyone's guess what the heck is going on :P I hope your case gets processed quickly in Nebraska if that is where it is actually sitting right now.

I share the story as you, and Im also a PDX filer as well. I sent my package in November but they only received in December and my number is 18060 so that makes me a December filer I guess... still nothing's changed

it'd be a really nice way to start the year off if we got it this year still but I don't think there are real chances of that happening

Still no 18 month letter for us so we have been trying to get an infopass appointment to get the I-551 stamp.  We've followed the advice on here about autorefresh and alerting us to appointments for the Philly office but weeks of this has led nowhere.  An appointment opens and before I can even enter our information, it's gone.  Looks like we'll have a 10 hour driving day to get this sorted at the Pittsburgh office. So frustrating!

I wanted to update everyone who also got an unofficial extension letter instead of an official one. I got an unofficial one several months ago. Yesterday USCIS finally sent me an OFFICIAL extension letter.

Quick question. How can we tell if we have an original extension letter . Could you tell the one you had previously was unofficial ? Was it stated on it ?

People who got the official letter first round got a letter w/ watermark on a thicker yellowish paper.

People who got a non-official one got a letter on regular paper w/out the watermark and it states that it is not official and the official letter was sent to your lawyer. Most people who got this (like myself) do not have a lawyer so this was sent on accident.

The official letter I got explains that I was sent an unofficial one on accident and this is the official. It is on think yellowish paper w/ watermark.

How do you know? 1) it says so 2) official: always on thicker yellowish paper w/ watermark

Can anyone provide a list of the marriage documentation they included for N400 filing? Do we need to resubmit everything we submitted for 751 plus anything that happened since that filing?

Include your tax returns since marriage, bank account statements, insurance (health, auto/home) and joint utility bills at the very least :)

Hey guys, do we have any November 2017 filers who cases have been transferred to NSC or TSC

Thanks, sounds like there is quite a bit of overlap with the 751 app then. I'm wondering about the transfers too!
