I did. Maybe this is that official 18 months letter , since it has 2 pages and approvals only have one page.

I know approval letters look like this, with the torch in the middle and those lines on the side. My brother got the same but it said one page and his was approval letter. To be honest I think that is too early for approvals lol

The USCIS is sending out updated extension letters.  Most people received the white copy that stated that the lawyer received the actual copy - which wasn't the case.  We should be seeing the green copy of the extension letter that extends the permanent residency to 18 months from the GC date.

I know, but this letter doesn't look like the previous extension letter because it had the torch in the middle of the letter, not visible in the middle. It doesn't matter really, we can only guess but my mailman is coming between 1-3pm

I just got out USPS email and we have the same letter coming.  I think it’s too early, too, but I have seen some from as late as August 2017 saying they have gotten approvals.

 

We will ultimately file for USC in 60 more days, but I hope to see some Nov/Dec 2017 action sometime in May 2019 or earlier!

guys i got the original 18 months of extension (previously received the white copy)  keep checking your mail! and sign up for informed delivery USPS!

if you guys recieved white copy of 18 months extension it will be extension letter...

exactly. it is on a strange paper but you can see the watermark. looks like they got new papers and kinda ran out of them lol. may be that's why they had to send white copies. and on the bottom of the page it says "i-797 revised 08/01/16" so they did change the look of i797s

Same here. I am receiving the same envelope today (that’s why I came to check the forum just in case).  We won’t be able to see it until my husband gets home in like 2 hours. I also think it is too soon to get approvals. 

I have received the withe-paper extension letter and I hope this is the original one. 

I really hope it is not a letter for an interview because I don’t have more PTO at work this year.
