Nope, nothing here.  But I did notice a change in my online info.  For the longest time it said "On  Feb 27th we sent your file to your local office."  and "On Feb 29th your file was received by your local office"  I check every once an a while.  I checked 2 weeks a go and noticed that it now says "On April 9th your file was received by your local office"  I am sure that I checked after April 9th and did not see the change until just now, however, I am assuming that the changes means that someone "touched" our file....where ever it is.  Anyone else notice the same thing?

Mine says April 9 as well online.

I am not sure if the files are actually touched but I sure hope so lol :P

I haven't gotten the "new" extension yet but I think that they have started with people that have an extension letter expiring soon.

But you never know! Always hoping to get some updates in the mail  :)

Hey guys

Can any November filers post about their applications processed with/without interview as of July ' 18? I filed my ROC on Nov 7 2017, got done with Biometrics in December'17 and just found out today that my application has been moved to the local USCIS office here in Portland OR. I never received an update about this even though I have text and email alerts on. If I hadn't checked https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do on a whim, I would have never seen this !

Have November filers seen any traction on their applications? Is everyone getting called for interviews?

My situation is that my spouse and I are currently separated. We chose to live apart after I filed for ROC. We wanted to try living apart for a year before deciding if we should file for divorce. So if I get called for an interview, naturally I will be honest about the situation but I don't know if we need to inform USCIS any sooner about our situation. Legally we are NOT separated. Nor have we filed for divorce so we cannot produce a divorce decree.

Yes, I had the same thing happen to me. I wish I knew what that meant, though!

So it turns out my file is still at the California service center. Looks like there is some confusion as to why the status update online indicates that my file has been moved to the local field office. Also, the USCIS agent informed me that is is actually good news because the average wait time at field offices is nearly 30 months (or more) while the CSC has a 20 month wait time. Hurray for a 2 year wait instead of 3-year (rolling eyes).

Also, USCIS is mailing out updated notices to people who had 751s filed BEFORE June 2018 (when they announced that the extension period has changed from 12 months to 18 months).

same here, filed in CSV from portland, in november. I doubt that Portland's office would take that long, but who knows where our case really is..

Yeah I highly doubt the Portland office is backed up with a 30-month delay!

The other crazy update was that the receipt number I saw online for CRI-89 is different from the receipt number issued for the 751. For months, I was checking the first receipt number and wondering why there's been no traction. The USCIS agent couldn't explain why a second case receipt number had to be issued. Or why that second number does not contain the biometrics update either. This is a screenshot of the FIRST receipt number...

(Can't wait to be done with this process!)

Just to share some information,

My wife has traveled outside the USA to her home country Philippines and with me to Sweden on business/vacation this year while in the ROC process.

Exit/Entry in USA always being Washington Dulles. Upon entry back into the USA both times her green card did not read in the automated immigration machines because it was expired. Both times we were directed to another line where we presented the hard copy in original envelope of the extension letter. Very smooth process and never any issues. The officer did ask once if we had our bio-metrics done yes, which we did. We were guarding the extension letter with out lives though the entire time over seas lol.

10/25: Mailed my I-129F using USPS Express to Texas Lockbox

10/27: NOA 1 notification from USCIS

12/29: NVC Received Case

12/30: MNL# Assigned

Hi I am new here, November 2017 filer. I just would like to clarify and get an insight from all of you regarding the new memo from USCIS pertaining to the RFE’s.

It says, previous guidance

This PM rescinds in its entirety the June 3, 2013 PM titled “Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny” (2013 PM) regarding an adjudicator’s discretion to deny an application, petition, or request without issuing an RFE

This PM incorporates those portions of the 2013 PM which are still intended to govern USCIS adjudications.

Scope

This memorandum applies to, and shall be used, to guide determinations by all U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) employees.

Effective Date:

This updated guidance is effective September 11, 2018 and applies to all applications, petitions, and requests received after the effective date.

I am worried about this but this only applies to applicants after the effectivity date correct? I feel like i did not submit sufficient documentation. I am expecting RFE.
