Won't they see you have an I-751 pending and delay your N400 to your local office?

I can't believe I'm still waiting for my biometrics appointment.

No most likely they would adjudicate both at the same time.  aka back to back interviews.

I just thought I would share. Our family just got back from vacation in the Netherlands. We travel to Europe a lot to visit my stepson who lives in Ireland with his mom. My husband had no trouble with going thru immigration with his expired green card and extension letter, the pain was convincing the airlines (British Airways) that it was valid.  He said they even called the embassy to verify.  They were very understanding, he just kept explaining it to them how the process worked.  His advice was to just make sure to give yourself extra time for hiccups along the way.  Take care everyone.

Ha, I lost my green card. Don't know how..... It was all the time with the documents and on the way to the airport I would out that it's gone. I was SO freaked out and scared and didn't know what to do. My husband comforted me and said they still should let me in with an extension letter. On the bright side, I had a copy of front and back pages of it. So, when I was checking in, I just showed the extension letter and the copy of the GC. United Airlines didn't ask for anything else and without additional questions let me in.

So I tried checking my case status on a different site: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

This is what I saw today. My question is: what notice are they talking about? I didn't get anything in the mail from USCIS and I wasn't expecting to receive anything for a long time, since I had my biometrics appointment on December 22.

February 27, 2018

We received your case

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will begin processing your case and will review it to make sure you have submitted all of the required information and documents. We will let you know if we need anything else from you.

If you do not receive your notice by March 29, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

I finally checked my case on the other site. It is so confusing.

I filed in early November. I had my biometrics in December. Nothing in the mail since. I am w/ the California center and located in Milwaukee, WI. Am I supposed to contact them or sthing?!

For my CRI-89 number it says. Mind you: they did NOT wave any filing fee!!!

November 27, 2017

We received your case and waived the filing fee

Read the notice we mailed you for more information about how we will process your case

We will begin processing your case and will review it to make sure you have submitted all of the required information and documents. We will let you know if we need anything else from you.

If you do not receive your notice by December 27, 2017, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

For my I - 751 it says the following:
Note: I have never received anything by March 29th!

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

On the site I've been checking, for I - 751 it says:

Case Was Received At My Local Office

On March 4, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXX, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

For CRI - 89 it says:

Case Was Received

On November 24, 2017, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WAC*********, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by December 24, 2017, please call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I assume most of you have something similar? Has anyone contacted USCIS, especially regarding the not receiving stuff by March 29th?

Yup, mine is very much similar until this other update dated on April 9th. Maybe there will be an interview coming up since other people did not get the same update. I really hope there is an interview for me soon, from what I see on this forum it will speed up the process. :D

Honestly, i am not optimistic. It is so backed up and based on what people (who called them/had infopass) are hearing we can't expect for another year. People are being told that their file is NOT at the local office despite the 'transfer note' online.... And there are others who've seen the April date as well... I have pretty much given up on quick results, but I also don't want to miss a step...

Okay, I sent them a case inquiry since I didn't receive anything by March 29th. Though it seems like this is the same for everyone else and these websites seem to be no help, I decided to message them. Let's see what happens...

"Thank you for your request:
USCIS will review and process the request
Expect a reply by May 3, 2018"

Maybe in 3 weeks I get a response. LOL
