Could someone update the list for us? I'm on a cell phone & cant really do it. Matt had his biometrics yesterday on march 8th.

Also, ours says transferred to local office as well. I'm not holding my breath. We didn't put in a ton of evidence, so I would think an interview might be better for us anyway.

I am the petitioner.

Hi guys. Anyone here waiting for the  biometrics app letter? After we mailed the package and receive NOA that uscis received it we didn’t get any kind of mail from them. Almost 5 months of silence and we called uscis several times. So just wondering is it just us? :((((((

I had spoken to a Tier 2 officer as well 2 days ago, they said that my file is at CSC and will be atleast 1 year before I hear anything back from them. However a Tier 1 officer I spoke to last week mentioned that my file was the local field office. At this point, I really do not know what to believe

December 2017 CSC filer here - no biometrics letter and no letter after we submitted a service request.  Response just asked us to wait longer. Many January and February 2018 CSC filers are still waiting, too.

Amhara, dk,

When you called USCIS, did you speak with Tier 1 (the initial live person) or did they transfer you to Tier 2 (which usually has a hold time or a call-back option presented)?

I wouldnt go on Tier 1's answer, as they are frontline call-center people.

Tier 2 is the one who you want to talk to as they are actual Case Officers.  The COs are able to pull-up details on your case.  Inform them you never received the 2nd NOA which is to have your biometric apt as well as case number.

I had not gotten mine by mid-Feb and so I called, got to T2 and then got a biometric apt NOA letter the next week.  Went and completed that already.  Would recommend the same.

We had a slow biometrics with the AOS.  We did a service request then and received a response. We did a service request this time around the 45 day mark and received a letter that asked us to wait longer.

Some folks received a transfer notice in the mail, so if there are case load transfers in the works, that could be the reason.  We aren’t in a rush.  Just need to wait until December 2018 until we apply for citizenship.

To add to the discourse, the website says local office timelines for 1751 are 15 to 27 months.  If this is true, my hope bubble has been burst since I was one of those who received the message "On XXXX, 2018 your file was received by the local office".  UGH...

You can push it along quicker, by applying for naturalization.

Won't they see you have an I-751 pending and delay your N400 to your local office?

I can't believe I'm still waiting for my biometrics appointment.

I know I can, but to be honest I was not planning to apply for citizenship for a couple of years.  Based on the $$ spent in the last 2 years on immigration fees, moving expenses, etc, we wanted to give it some time before we spent anymore.
