Good afternoon everyone.

Today in the mail I got the letter for the biometrics and it was at a service center near our previous address for DEC 20.

(I DID COMMUNICATE AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION FOR CHANGE OF ADDRESS...but of course they still made a mistake).

So I called USCIS and they told me to follow the reschedule procedure on the letter = mail it back with a cover letter explaining the mistake.

After I hung up the phone, my husband and I decided to just go over to the local USCIS center.

We explained what happened and they just processed me on the spot without me having to do anything. LUCKY DAY !

Interesting. Where did you hear that? I was under the impression that if they are satisfied with your evidence they won't make you come in for an interview.

They say i751 will have mandatory interviews? It is a rumor I guess. Or they say that every year?

I've seen a few people say that and there was even a thread about it not too long ago

 

 

Maybe it's a new policy that is being implemented soon?

08/16/2018 - 18 month extension letter received (dated 08/11/2018)

02/12/2019 - New Card is being Produced

02/22/2019 - 10 Year Green Card received

Wel when the law comes shouldn't it affect the people who is going to apply after it passed?

I had my biometrics today in orlando fl. I was in and ou within 15 minutes. Just took a pic and fingerprints. Easy peasy :) hopefully the rest will go fast too now. Fingers crossed 

22 december 2014 - POE on VWP in EWR

26 december 2014 - married

2015 decided to do AOS

20 march - packet sent

22 march - arrived at chicago (day 1)

27 march - check cashed (day 6)

5 april - bio appointment received for april 15 (day 15)

10 april - sucessfull walkin bio + finally received NOAs (day 20)

15 april - original bio date (day 25)

2 june - EAD approved (day 70)

30 july - e-mail received, interview is scheduled on sept 2 (day 130)

Waiting for interview now..

2 sept - interview (on day 164..)

7/29/15 Checks cashed for I-131 and I-485

8/01/15 Received notices in mail for I-130, I-765, I-131, and 1-485

8/07/15 Received biometrics appt letter

8/21/15 Successful biometrics appt

9/22/15 EAD/AP approval online

9/28/15 Received EAD/AP approval notice in mail

9/30/15 Received EAD/AP card in mail

1/11/16 Interview scheduled for 2/16/16

2/16/16 Green card approval!!

12/16/17 Mailed I-751

12/19/17 Received NOA1

1/23/18 Biometrics

2/26/2019 Conditions removed

3/5/2019 Received 10 year green card

I just had my biometric this afternoon.. Only my four finger in right hand had fingerprinted, and then signature. But before as I remembered both my hands was fingerprinted. But anyways it's just easy ,got inside at 2:50 and out at 3pm.
