Checking Vermont Service center every day. Today saw another 2 interviews issued. That overall makes it 7 that I've saw in Vermont.  I'm only checking cases like  EAC1803100XXX, so can't say what's going on in other numbers. I'm not trying to scare anybody, I hope everybody gets the long waiting card. I guess I'm just trying to justify to myself why I got so unlucky...

November 2017 is indeed a long overdue, considering that Vermont is now working primarily on January and February 2018.

No idea. Mine is for combined. Had a fried few years back, she also had rfe and interview, even thought all the paperwork was good. Maybe a predisposition to certain countries, I can’t say.

Hi everyone,  I got a notice from USCIS yesterday (4/5/19) that my case for I-751 has been processed and now says: Status: Card/ Document production" but lists nothing about being approved.  Has anyone else had this?

We got an rfe, sent it back a few weeks ago & got a message that our case was transferred. Matt got a letter in the mail 2 days ago. His case was transferred to Missouri & they will be scheduling an interview. Has anyone here undergone an interview? How much notice do they give you & how bad are they? My husband & I are together all the time, I don’t understand why they scheduled an interview...

Have both of you been interviewed together previously during I-485 adjustment?

No, we haven’t had any interviews through any of this other than Matt’s K-1 interview that everyone goes through in that process when he was coming here from England.

@Julie+Matt - That is why. Although the new rules are supposed to only apply to cases filed after 12/10/2018 only as they do want to interview the US citizens at least once in the process, they do have the choice to interview any case if they want to.

Most K-1s get their I-485 approved with an interview waiver.  The concern claimed by this Administration is that they are being too loose on the rules.  The petitioning US citizens should also be interviewed at least once to make sure that the marriage is genuine and hence the new Policy Memoranda regarding I-751 interview waiver criteria.

Nonetheless, my take is: your evidence (even with the RFE) maybe on the “light” side judging by your adjudicating officer, so s/he refers your case for an interview.  Although I expect this will be easy for most couples, the wait time is what we all hate. I-751 interview (stand alone) can take a very long time to be scheduled depending on your local office.  I would suggest that you have Matt file for N-400, since the British can have a dual nationalities anyway.  Filing N-400 will put both cases on N-400 timeline instead and that will be faster than leaving I-751 alone, most likely, in your case.

Matt wants to have dual citizenship. Can he get that if we file for the N-400?

Nov 27, 2017 filer, EAC18061XXXX, a few cases including mine are untouched ( around 22 cases, see attached).  I applied N-400, not sure that is the reason? Out of 338 cases, 218 are approved and other cases are RFE.D-1.png.e5df977212b6dce47d122147614edbef.png
