Hi Everyone,

I just overnighted our response to the RFE we received march 3.  I just wanted to share what I included in the package I sent back. I sent back the following;

1)School emergency contact forms( Per their request showing the stepparent listed)

2)Power of attorney (notarized)

3)copies of our driver licenses( Per their request to show matching addresses)

4) vehicle title(joint  ownership)

5)vehicle registration ( joint ownership )

6) affidavit of my mother( copy of her drivers license included )for the explanation of why it looks like we have two addresses( because my husbands job we move a lot )We use her address as a permanent mailing address for our stuff and  she wrote a part  in her affidavit verifying the relationship

7) copy of  Health insurance and health insurance cards( from my husbands workplace both of us are on the policy

8)life insurance (from my workplace, Showing my spouse and children as my beneficiary)

9)credit union joint savings account & joint vehicle loan

10) our lease -( showing both names on the lease )where we currently reside( even though I provided the first time in November 2017 they listed back again to provide a lease and also since a year past it had expired I made sure that I .highlighted  where it says it automatically renewed )

11)copy of an IRS notice saying that i owe them $***** for tax yeat 2015 and i have not filed my taxes since that year, because i am currently disputing the amount owed, and explained to USCIS officer that is the reason we have chose not to file our taxes together yet.   I dont want this IRS issue to haunt my husbands tax returns or them to Come after him for it.

12)copy if my cell phone bill for 2017 & 2018 showing my husband line on my bill together

13)copy of electric bill from 2018. & 2019 both names on bill, i provided this to show them the address we live at currently - not my mailing address(which is my moms house)

14) pictures, passport stamp in my passport, mexican vistor visa(mine) hotel Receipts & bus tickets from the whole trip even though it was a trip from 2016

15)some old insurance cards and mail showing us living in florida together in 2015

and

16)my credit card showing him as an authorized user with his own card

17)about 20 pictures with dates from facebook over the past 7 years...i also invited them to look at our facebooks and instagrams  I provided all of the names to find us on social networks because Facebook dates cannot be changed, you can’t alter those dates. there’s just so many pictures on there that they could go through to see that our marriage is very much indeed real

I decided also not to send it to the PO Box listed and instead I sent it directly to them At the Texas Service Center. 4141 North St. Augustine Road. Dallas Texas 75227

Once again the waiting game begins....

fingers crossed

Hey guys, so mine was actually the RFE for my divorce papers. Good news -  no questions towards my good faith marriage (They got like 240 pages of proof). Although I had sent the judgement of dissolution  - as is it standard for CA divorce and signed by the judge, they ask for a legible photocopy of the complete divorce decree. What can this additional be? I will go to the court and will try to get another decree. Anyone else with a waiver in CA knows about it?

Also for all other waiver - They added some boiler plate language as in: Such proof would normally be the final absolute divorce decree and it must be valid be valid in the jurisdiction where it was terminated. Then they add: " In addition, the divorce must also be recognized in the jurisdiction where any subsequent marriage occurred. Matter of P, 4I&N. Dec 610 (B1.thumb.JPG.8e12fd2b120a96ddb8c3ca23560906e6.JPG). 9 FAM 102.8-1 (I) Legal Separations and Marriages Terminations. There has been no subsequent marriage. Is that just language they always use?

Has anyone mailed in an RFE response for your 751? How did you send it (Fedex USPS UPS?) The instructions tell me to mail it to a PO Box and I'm not sure if I can mail it to the regular address like you can with the initial application. I certainly dont want it to get lost or delayed!

I got the final divorce decree what is different to what the judge sends you after the divorce. Guess thats important for all the waivers. Get the final one because you need to obtain it yourself. I have send in my RFE. Also the rest in my RFE language is just boiler plate.
