They did ask me why i made the appt in Cleveland and i told her because that was the only open appts and she said ok.    I have heard before of them taking the expired greencards.   My husbands ext. letter was expiring 2/13/19 GC had expired 2/13/18.     The gave the I551 until next Febuary. 2020. If you do go to the infopass appt. take the expired passport and 2 passport size photos.     Also try making appts at midnight a lot of people have had luck with that.    Why wont Penndot give her a license? They should honor her expired gc and ext letter????   We are both licensed in Maryland because my husband is a jockey and we move around a lot so we use my moms address as a permanent address.

Thanks for the info!  Penndot said they cannot accept any documents that are good for less than 6 months of status.  Her extension letter expires in June.  I was pretty annoyed.  Hopefully we can get it figured out.

Wow I feel like they gave you wrong info.  She should be able to get a DL at least until the ext letter is expired.

I spoke to the manager.  Said it was state law and his employee would be breaking it if she gave us a license.

I know the feeling.  I was not very nice.  I apologized and knew it wasn't his fault, but it really is such BS.  They acted like we waited til the last minute or something.  I said sir we applied for this new green card in 2017!  Thanks for letting me vent 😣

I am in the same group as you (18039. I applied Nov 8 in 2017. Applied for n400 Nov 2018. Case got transferred to lee summit December 2018. I don’t know what to think of all this. I’m just tired of this long wait.

I know how you feel but what i have learned from this experience is to just move on with the life and eventually it will happen at one point or another. This just means that the person who has your file in his  office  has other cases that he is working on and eventually he will open yours.

Hey i didnt realize that you have filled for N 400. Your i 751 will be adjudicated along with your N400 at the citizenship interview. And you will directly  get the citizenship. So i think you should look at your local office’s processing time for N 400 and wait for an interview letter.

The wait time at my local office is 9.5 to 13 months 😭😭😭😭

Finally i've recevied my card today! USPS tried to deliver it for 2 weeks 😫

 

No "transfer to new juridiction"

No RFE

No intw

Did not file N400

CSC filer, WAC18044.  No RFE, case didn't transfer.

 

Feel like a huge stress has lifted off my shoulders.
