No point wasting time to call USCIS, they will provide generic answers that it is taking 15.5 to 19.5 months and you can enquirer if you are out of your processing time.

The person who I spoke to was incredibly nice and helpful, didn't just give me the generic answer to be honest and put my mind at ease a bit.  I don't consider that time wasted.

GermanG-  I got my passport stamped, once they will see in their record, they  will not approve our ROC.  They will send to NBC for interview ( N-400) and may be combo interview.   Only little bit uneasiness of travelling with I-551 stamp.  Need to explain to airport ticket issuer and immigration office overseas about the stamp.  May be 15-20 minutes extra time.

My 18 months will be done in July. When is the right time to get the stamp?

First time posting here , but I follow and read all comments ,

I filed my I 751 on Nov 21 .I just got my 10 yr GC approved yesterday EAC18048. My case was transferred to Texas on Dec 14 and  I had just made an info pass appointment to get a stamp for my passport for Feb 11 since my 1 yr extension letter expires on the Feb 13. Prior to that I had submitted about 3 case inquiries in the last 2 months complaining about not receiving the extension letter and also not receiving a notice of my case transfer to Texas . Strangely on Feb 4, I had another update that my case was Transferred to a new jurisdiction ( Same Texas) after my last case inquiry was replied stating a new extension letter will be sent again as a courtesy (since they claim one was already sent )  . Thank you all I pray you all get some good news soon

prianca- One month before your 18 months extension letter expire data.  I think, you will get your green card and no need for passport stamp.  Remember, infopass is not easy to get.  Did you apply for N-400?

Thanks, Dilip. Hope it comes through in Feb/March. I am submitting the N-400 tomorrow. I got a letter today that my new USCIS address is updated so that makes it easier.

If the info pass is hard to get, is 1 month still good enough (fingers crossed I don’t need to)

Good morning fellow Nov-17 filers,

Just thought I'd share some somewhat encouraging news for all of you who got transferred to TSC on 12/13/2018. My EAC case (EAC18048* batch) was approved on Friday. So although it clearly looks like Texas is moving slower than Vermont, it also seems like they are picking up the pace and slowly getting to the Oct/Nov cases. I also ran the numbers for the 18048* batch of cases and based on all the approved/RFE/open cases showing in the case tracker app, a rough estimate indicates that all of those cases should be adjudicated by mid-March (roughly 4 to 5 cases per day are processed). The end is near! Congrats to all who got approved, good luck to everyone else who is still anxiously waiting... Should be no more than a month or 2 tops.

And while I'm here, another piece of info. The Atlanta field office no longer takes walk-in infopass appointments for I551 stamps. For anyone struggling to get a date online, I spoke to the floor manager when I was there last month and the trick is to go on the website at midnight... This is when the system refreshes and opens up new availabilities.
