Adjustment of Status processing in NYC

Hi all,

First of all, thanks to all for sharing such valuable information. I have gained so much information in one day here. I will be adding my experiences soon enough too.

I want to know about times processing has taken recently for AOS for NYC . USCIS site is showing they are working on cases with Receipt notice date of Jan 9, 2006.

However, gladly, I have read on some threads that people are experiencing much shorter delays. Also, the immigration timelines on this site point in the same positive direction.

I would really appreciate any feedback.

The only way you'll be able to tell is by looking at people's timelines whose district office is NYC. You can't go by the timelines on USCIS's site, those are employment based. (For example, Tampa says they're processing cases with a receipt date of September 13, 2006, but our interview is Thursday and our receipt date is March 8th.)
