Do you need to bring a copy of the joint affidavit of support to the interview after sending it to the nvc?

Hi, I filed for my husband on oct 11 2016. cc on 9/29/17 and interview is on 11/2017. I had a professional file for me. She sent all of my papers to the nvc and only sent my husband his birth certificate, marriage certificate, nikkah nama (marriage certificate) in english and urdu, ds 260 form ( one paper), and thats it. I know he needs two passport pictures, marriage evidence (photos and videos), and medical report. I was wondering if he needed the copy of the joint affidavit of support, tax forms, and naturalization evidence for the interview? Please help. 

More info: I didnt work at the time of filing so my dad and his friend did the affidavit of support. Should my husband be aware of this for the interview? Will they ask him this question?

I know for our interview, we took a copy of the complete package with us just in case an item was missing.  If you had a lawyer file for you, I would make sure to get a copy of all you documents that were filed and have them handy for the interview.  As to questions during the interview, that is up to the IO, but I suppose they could ask questions about the family and the persons who are signing up to financially back your husband.

I went to the interview with every single thing. And they didn’t ask for a thing except for my marriage and daughters birth certificate

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
